Digital Camera Setting Tips

Ensure the Photos Your Are Snapping Are of High Enough Resolution to Be Printed Larger than snapshot size

Your digital camera probably has more settings than you realise! It's important to set it to a higher quality if you think you might ever like to enlarge any of the images you take. (And this is crucial if you're thinking of having your images made into a coffee table book).

The larger the original photo size is set at, the better the quality of any printing you have done will be. We recommend 3072 x 2048 pixels wherever possible. It might mean you can store less on your chip, but it also means we'll be able to spread those great panoramics you took in Peru across a double page spread! Don't worry though if you don't even know what size your images were originally taken at, we'll be sure not to enlarge them any further than quality will allow.

Check your digital camera's instruction book for more details.
